Sample Questions Coming Soon

We are currently preparing sample questions for all four age groups. These will be published here shortly to help students and teachers understand the style and difficulty of the contest.

info What to Expect

The LCMC questions are creative and non-routine. They are designed to challenge and inspire young minds rather than test rote memorisation. Here is what each group's paper will look like:

Group A (Ages 7–8)

Problems focused on addition, subtraction, shapes, patterns, and basic logical tasks.

Group B (Ages 8–9)

Arithmetic within 100, geometry, measurement, graph problems, and the pigeonhole principle.

Group C (Ages 9–10)

5-digit numbers, fractions, geometry, statistics, patterns, and backward problem-solving.

Group D (Ages 10–11)

6-digit numbers, fractions & decimals, probability, truth-lovers & liars, one-to-one correspondences.

description Practice Papers

Registered teams receive three practice papers as part of their registration fee. These papers mirror the format and difficulty of the actual contest and are the best way to prepare.

Practice papers are distributed through the Team Leaders Portal once registration and payment are confirmed.
